We’ve added Construction License (건설업 등록) to KOBDi Business Profiles. As part of this release, more than 108,303 Korean construction businesses and companies were updated.
This update helps you quickly verify whether a business holds registered construction licenses and understand the work categories it is authorized to perform—an additional signal for compliance checks, vendor screening, and industry discovery.
Coverage highlights
Construction licenses in KOBDi cover a wide range of construction work categories, including gas/heating, mechanical facilities, structural/building works, demolition/scaffolding, roofing/windows & exterior trades, finishes & waterproofing, civil/groundworks, water & marine works, transport infrastructure, elevators/ropeways, landscaping, industrial/environmental facilities, and facility maintenance/management.
What you can see in the Construction License section
- License Number: The unique registration ID for each license (a business may hold multiple licenses)
- Status: New, Correction, Change, or Withdrawal
- Type: The licensed work category (e.g., structural works, mechanical facilities, civil/groundworks)
- Registration Date: The date the license was registered
Where to find it
The construction license information appears in each company’s Business Profile under the Licenses tab (Construction License).

You can discover and filter Korean companies associated with construction license records via the KOBDi Korea Industry Search. Relevant fields are available in exports for eligible membership plans.
